Marseille have announced that Mason Greenwood has joined the club on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old forward will be hoping to make his debut for the Ligue 1 side in their next game, which is against Nice on Saturday.
Greenwood has made a number of headlines recently after he was involved in a serious car accident earlier this year and was later arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
He has been with Manchester United since the age of six and has played for the first team on several occasions, but has struggled to find regular football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, it seems that he has put his personal issues behind him and is determined to prove himself as a professional footballer.
Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa has expressed his excitement about bringing Greenwood to the club and believes that he can be a key player for them in the coming months.
Greenwood has already impressed in pre-season training and has shown great potential as a goalscorer.
It remains to be seen whether he will be able to replicate that form on the pitch when he makes his debut for the club, but he certainly has the talent to do so.
